OBJECTIVES -- In this 60 minutes lesson and activity, students will be able to discuss The Water Cycle with 80% accuracy by meeting the following objectives:
- Students will have the choice to cut out or draw pictures that resemble the different stages of the water cycle.
- They will then label their illustration with 90% accuracy.
- Each student will demonstrate the water cycle by presenting their illustration.
- Students will engage in discussion about water cycle at the end of presentation which involves critical thinking on how the cycle effects them and how we affect the cycle.
- Students develop respect for environment.
- This lesson plan complies with Guam Department of Education's Standard 1: Science as an Inquiry & Standard 3: Physical Science:
- 5.3.1 Investigate that when liquid water disappears, it has turned into a gas that is mixed into the air and can reappear as a liquid if cooled or as a solid if cooled below its freezing point.
